Steven Decraene
Steven Victor Decraene (Kortrijk, 1976) is a Belgian journalist who travels to various conflict and disaster zones as a TV reporter. From there, he reports live on events: from the tsunami in Southeast Asia; terror attacks in Europe; the wave of migration from the Middle East to Western Europe; forest fires in Australia to, most recently, the devastating earthquake in Turkey.
Decraene has more than 20 years of experience as a foreign reporter and has followed France closely as a correspondent since 2015.
In addition to his TV work, Decraene also writes non-fiction books on aviation, tourism and international current affairs.
