Sven Pichal works as a journalist for radio and television programmes. At Radio 1, together with Annemie Peeters, he made the popular consumer and discussion programme Peeters & Pichal. He also works for the VRT news service on Volt, Het Journaal and various electoral programmes.

Sven often goes on adventures for his job: he tested as many ecological vehicles as possible on the way to the climate summit in Copenhagen, he investigated the customer-friendliness of large companies, saw with his own eyes that our clothes are not made in optimal conditions in Bangladesh and went to the rainforest in Brazil to conclude that the chopping down of the forests still continues.
