Wim De Vilder

Wim De Vilder is one of the leading hosts of the VRT news service. He presents "Het Journaal" in prime time, and collaborates on numerous interview programmes such as "Over 5 Jaar" and election programmes. He also feels at home as a presenter of popular show programmes such as the gala "De Nacht van de Televisiesterren" and the closing shows of "Kom Op Tegen Kanker".

With all his experience, he is a much sought-after presenter, moderator and speaker for company events, congresses and seminars. Besides his presentation work, De Vilder also gives presentation training, media training and training for moderators himself. He is also asked for guest lectures at various universities.

Wim studied law in Leuven and communication sciences in Ghent. In 1993, he started his career at VRT, first as a reporter at Radio 1.
